Blending Drinks with Your Friend Rama

People often ask about how I, the tonic master, blend my tonics to yield the most satisfying results. So I decided to go ahead and share my process so that you too can build supreme confidence & achieve your wildest dreams of becoming your own self-proclaimed tonic master.

Here's what you'll need to get started...

Pictured above (left to right): Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener, Vanilla Extract, Rahma Blends Peruvian Cacao Paste, Organic Unsalted Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Cinnamon, Oat Milk, Sample Coffee Roasters Coffee.

So I'd hate to say it but ever since trying Coffee from local roasters Sample Coffee Roasters I've become a certified coffee snob. Not only that, I've also become a borderline Coffee addict, drinking their coffee every morning (it's literally the first thing I think about). There's an everlasting debate raging on about coffee, it's benefits & drawbacks, & whether or not it deserves its esteemed place in our daily routine. I don't care to opine on that, but I will tell you this, adding tonics to coffee not only makes tonics more exciting to drink but also effectively balances out some of the primary drawbacks of regular Coffee consumption such as adrenal fatigue and anxiety.

Another thing I will tell you is that I like to have a good time, and by good time I mean that (despite the statements I made above about being a coffee snob) I still drink my coffee like a child, milky & sweet. And that's just how I'm gonna go ahead & live my life but I do at least use this tasty, zero-calorie, low-glycemic Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener which I highly recommend for blending your drinks.

Alright, but you know what really grinds my gears? When people make a recipe post & precede the recipe with literally their whole life story, so I'm just gonna go ahead and get to the point here.

So now without further ado,

the thing that you all came here for,

I introduce to you

some tasty recipes!

Ingredients:

Instructions

  • Pour hot coffee & warmed milk into blender

  • Add sweetener, Mushroom Blend, vanilla extract & butter to liquid

  • Blend on high until frothy (about 5 seconds)

  • Pour into cup & Sprinkle with Cinnamon

About the options:

I alternate between our Alpha Glucan Blend or Four Allies depending on what I'm feeling in that moment and the result I am desiring for myself. I will elaborate on this further to help you with your decision if you are torn between the two:

  • Both Blends and Medicinal Mushrooms in general perform two main functions.

    1. They are immuno-modulators meaning they are bi-directional in their immune supporting function. Meaning they are effective for those with compromised immunity (deficient or poorly performing immune system) as well as those with autoimmunity (overreactive immune system - that attacks its own healthy cells).

    2. They are adaptogenic. Also bi-directional in their ability to help the body adapt. Meaning if the body is under-stimulated it supports energy and if it is overstimulated it supports calm. Adaptogens are known to help the body adapt to both physical & mental/emotional stressors

  • I generally recommend using The Four Allies for someone seeking a more perceptual (as opposed to sub-perceptual) experience. This combination of Mushrooms has a pronounced effect on the mood, physical energy, emotions, & cognition. An effect that is easy to recognize. So if you're looking for a more immediate pick-me-up (clarity, awareness, emotional balance, energy) this blend is for you.

  • On the other hand the effects of our Alpha Glucan Blend are more sub-perceptual (occurring outside of immediate conscious perception for most). While many will still feel a shift in their mood and awareness the most profound benefits of this blend will be occurring on a cellular level. I recommend this formula for anybody trying to build, restore, or bolster their immune system. Out of all of the most well studied Medicinal Mushrooms this formulation has performed the best in supporting immune health.

I use Rahma Blends Peruvian Cacao Paste in this blend occasionally but mostly prefer to enjoy it without so I can enjoy the flavor profile of the coffee. But I highly recommend using the Cacao Paste for its profound mood-boosting & heart opening effect.

Ingredients:

Instructions

  • Pour hot water & warmed milk into blender

  • Add sweetener, Tonic Latte, vanilla, cacao & butter to liquid

  • Blend on high until frothy (about 5 seconds)

  • Pour into cup & Sprinkle with Cinnamon

About the options:

I love enjoying these tonics as a coffee substitute so I generally opt out of using coffee as a fluid base for these blends. Both are enlivening, invigorating, and mood boosting in their own ways.

I generally recommend Laughing Buddha for those who are going through grief or other heart-heavy emotions, those who could use a little help with socializing & opening up to others, and those who need a mood/energy boost at any time of the day. This is an ideal tonic to be enjoyed with friends or lovers.

As for the Mystic Mushroom Mocha this is our least targeted/most broad spectrum formula. Packed with 10 different Mushrooms, each having their own unique properties and targeted areas of support while maintaining their general immunomodulating and adaptogenic properties. This blend is useful for anyone and everyone trying to optimize all systems of the body.

  • ▢ 1 cup hot water

  • ▢ 1/2 cup Warm Oat Milk (or milk of choice)

  • ▢ 1 Tbl monkfruit sweetener

  • ▢ 1 Tbl Golden Sacra or Amrita Immunity

  • ▢ 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ▢ 1 Tbl Organic Butter

  • ▢ Dash of Cinnamon

  • ▢ (optional) 1 Tbl Fresh Ginger Juice

Instructions

  • Pour hot water & warmed milk into blender

  • Add sweetener, Tonic Latte, vanilla & butter to liquid

  • Blend on high until frothy (about 5 seconds)

  • Pour into cup & Sprinkle with Cinnamon

About the options:

I really enjoy a spicier chai especially during the colder seasons, and since both of these formulas contain the same traditional chai spice blend I add an extra tablespoon of fresh ginger juice to it for a more warming, digestive system nourishing tonic.

Golden Sacra was inspired by the Golden/Orangish hue of Turmeric & Pine Pollen which brought to mind the Sacral & Solar Chakras stacked atop one another. Tapping into the energetic qualities of these energy centers I concocted a blend of nourishing herbs to help energize these centers associated with Confidence, Self-Esteem, Purpose, Creativity, Drive, Sexuality.

Amrita Immunity was specifically formulated to support seasonal immunity using 5 of the more immune nourishing Mushrooms found in our Mushroom Mocha and supported by traditionally immune enhancing herbs. This blend is ideal for year round support but mostly useful through the harsher Autumn & Winter months.

Ingredients:

Instructions

  • Pour hot water & warmed milk into blender

  • Add sweetener, Tonic Latte, vanilla & coconut oil to liquid

  • Blend on high until frothy (about 5 seconds)

  • Pour into cup & Enjoy.

About this blend:

When formulating the original line of Rahma Blends Tonic Latte's I was deeply involved in the study of Eastern Philosophy, Spirituality, & Mysticism (as you might notice from the names of these blends). Like its predecessors (Laughing Buddha & Golden Sacra) the concept of Green Tara Matcha preceded its formulation. I wanted to create a Matcha formula. The vibrant green color of Matcha powder and it's properties: Mild gentle flavor, awakening yet calming, balancing, uplifting, cognitive. It came naturally that the archetype of the Green Tara came to mind. Known as the mother of all awakened ones, having the ability to guide one to enlightenment, Green Tara is evoked to uplift as well as invite support and compassion. These are the traits that inspired this blend of herbs.

That's all folks, bye!

Sike!
