About the event

This month we will be exploring the subject of Attachment and the healthy and/or unhealthy role it plays or has played througout the different phases of our lives.

Join us for a night of Cacao, Poetry & Authentic Relating

We aim to create a safe space for authentic & vulnerable expression. This is not your typical poetry open mic, we aren’t concerned with rhyme or meter, this is a space for all to share a piece of their authentic truth in whatever form it takes because our unique authentic truth is poetry of the heart. We incorporate Authentic Relating sharing prompts to create more opportunity for engagement.

What is Authentic Relating?

Authentic Relating practices create a safe, intentional space - rooted in play and supported by clear boundaries - to create meaningful and enjoyable connections to self and other. By learning Authentic Relating skills, you can drop your conditioned relational habits, and learn to relate with yourself and others from a deeper more authentic expression of your truth.

Being part of the community we know how important it is to create safe containers for authentic & vulnerable Queer expression so, with all that being said, this is a Queer-Centered space but all are welcome to join.

A vegan Cacao blend will be served at the beginning of our gathering so please arrive on time to share a heart-centered moment of connection with the group.

Refreshments will be provided at the event.

Bring a jacket, sweater, or blanket to adjust to the later hour of the gathering.

** Disclaimer:  This is a safe judgement-free space. In this shared space no rudeness, hostility, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, fat-phobia, or ableism will be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask you to leave.
